There's no doubt about it, telephone conferencing is useful. You can save hours of organising, re-organising, travelling and otherwise messing about. You can also arrange meetings quickly and when they are really needed.
But there have always been two problems.
Firstly, the facilities are expensive. Adding a proper conference system to your own telephone system can cost thousands and unless you use it a lot, it's not likely to pay for itself very quickly.
Secondly, they are often complex to use. This means that occasional users quickly give up because they can't remember the training they were given.
Fortunately, these two issues are addressed by our hosted conference service. You don't pay anything for the setup (all you have to do is call us and request your account). Once this is setup, we simply charge each caller 10 pence per min (through their phone bill) to access the service.
All you do is...
1) Dial 0871 224 1310
2) Wait for the prompt, then enter your Conference Number
3) Enter your Pin Number
4) Speak your name so people will know you are there
That's it, you are in the conference and will be able to speak to anyone else who joins (they will be introduced as they join).
It's quick, simple, cost effective and incredibly useful.
